The architectural pearl of modern Bulgaria, the White Mosque complex, was built as part of the program "Cultural Heritage: Island of Grad-Sviyazhsk and Ancient Bulgaria".
The complex includes the residence of the spiritual leaders of Islam, a madrasa for teaching the basics of Islam and the building of the mosque itself.
